WHAT? 
With its city location and the renovations, our school building can sometimes not look as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside.  To live the ISH mission of We Model Action to Inspire Action, we would like to introduce a new PTA initiative – The Great ISH Clean-up Day!

2 times per year (Spring and Autumn), we call all families into action to inspire our children into action;
it’s as easy as ABC!

ACT  – Take action    

BEAUTIFY  –  make our school sparkle    

CONNECT  –  Get to know members of the ISH family

WHEN? 
Spring clean-up day will be Saturday 13th April, 9AM-1PM. 
Book this in your calendars!!

WHO? 
All helping hands are welcome! Guardians, students, siblings plus family
and friends of ISH are welcome!

HOW? 
There will be a signup sheet next year where everyone can sign up. 
We will share a list of all the work and the tools required
with all participants as soon as possible.

We have two pieces of good news to share with you!

Firstly, at this year’s Extraordinary General Meeting we adopted a new constitution to make the PTA safer and legally compliant. The new constitution and the Minutes can be accessed at any time in the Documents section.
In addition, we have confirmed the election of the Treasurer and thus
also the confirmation of Sibel as a member of the PTA Board by the EGM and we
are pleased to have Sibel now confirmed in office and our team.

Dear members of the ISH

The PTA board has called an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting)
and request your presence at the meeting.

Please find the Agenda here.

 If you cannot attend and wish to make a vote, please inform the
secretary at secretary@ishpta.se and assign your proxy.

Members present can only have one proxy vote.
Members will be able to join via a virtual meeting, link to be sent out closer to the time.

To be deemed valid, proxies must be emailed:

·         within 48 hours of the commencement time of the Meeting 
·         noting the Parent’s name, child’s class and teacher’s name, and the identity of the Proxy 
·         noting the Agenda item to be voted on 
·         noting the desired vote (a vote must be in the affirmative or negative; not left open to the Proxy).

Why: To rectify the board and adopt a new constitution for the PTA
When: 10 November 2023, 8am for 8:15 start.
Where: Conference room, PYP campus ISH
What: Voting on the appointment of treasurer and adopting an amended constitution.
How: In person or via proxy.

This is accordance with the following points ; 2.4, 4.4, 4.1, and 8.1 of the current constitution.

We are happy to announce the new dates for our 30 min. roundtables.
We have changed the dates due to multiple requests from parents and
will now offer morning and afternoon – monthly changing – dates.

To offer better planning for you parents, we have set the dates
for the entire school year 2023/2024 (Changes are possible). See below.
