Loppis and One Item Donations


PTA is proud to support our school fundraising and “One Item” initiative on May 26, 11 a.m., with a SPRING FLEA MARKET.  Start your SPRING CLEANING NOW and bring in your donations! We accept all items, nothing is lost! We are ready to receive your items now!

For all donations, from now until May 25, PTA is receiving your items. A PTA parent will be available at the main entrance, in front of cafeteria, according to the schedule below:

Every weekday:

  • Mornings: 07:30- 07:50
  • Afternoons: 16:30- 17:00

If you have any questions or you need support with your donations, please send us an email and we are happy to help, including pick it up according to an agreed schedule. Of course you can leave your donations anytime.

Should you specifically like to donate to PTA fundraising or “One item”, please mark your donations accordingly.

The One Item collection of donations will take place this year in May. It is a privately initiated collection of donations to the Valea Screzii community in Romania. This will mark the 6th year that ISH Teacher Yvette Larsson, together with students, parents and teachers have collected donations. Previous collections can be seen on YouTube

The collection will take place during the month of May: 1/5-31/5.                          If you wish to donate you can do so as accordingly  at the PYP building of the International School of Helsingborg.


  • 07:50-8:15 every weekday.
  • 13:50 Tuesday and Friday.
  • 14:45 Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This is what is needed :

– Everything that is needed for a household with children.

– Bikes for young adults

– Bikes for kids

– Household equipment

– Furniture

– Clothes

– Summer games toys and equipment

-Money donations. They also need money to buy construction material to build houses.

SWISH details are available on request.

Packaging :  Please pack your donations in big plastic bags as much as possible. Boxes for more bulky things. Please write clearly what it is inside your plastic bag or box.

One Item has a Facebook page,  where you can see some pictures from previous collections. You can also find information about it here at The Bucharest Lounge.

One Item connects well to the IB and ISH values of being a caring citizen of the world , making the world a better place.  It also connects well with the Helsingborg Kommun Vision 2035 of being a global, creating ( skapande ) citizen.

ISH Loppis Saturday May 26

One person’s trash is another person’s treasure.

Bring in any unused items that you have lying around the house and ISH will convert them to treasure at the ISH PTA Loppis.


Items can be left at PYP.

Come along and join in the fun. Volunteers to run stalls are needed.


Meet the New PTA Board

PTA Board

We had a great turn out of volunteers who were interested in chairing committees and being board members! We went from worrying about having no one, to having a number of willing parents.  Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in helping!

There will be a board meeting held on April 4th at 17:00 at the PYP campus in the school conference room. Anyone who is interested in chairing committees or would like to be active within the PTA is welcome to attend.

I would like to pass a big thank to you to all for making the Winter Fair a big success.
Please pass this on to your volunteers, to the teachers for all their help and support, to the class Booths, the Winter Cafe staff, the setting up & cleaning crews from MYP, and the parents for helping to celebrate the ISH school in all its culture.
The Tree Ornament competition winners Book Token Vouchers are with Ms Sally Drury, who will announce K/PYP winners, and pass the MYP winners to Mr McAneney. The list of winners will be in the Newsletter on Friday.

ISH Winter Fair 2017

Forget about Black Friday – it’s time for the ISH Winter Fair!

Saturday 2nd December at the PYP Campus between 11:00 – 14:00.

Join in the Ornament Decorating Competition fun, enjoy some tasty food and get a head start on your gift shopping.
